Brits get paid extra welfare if it is cold ! ! !
"the successful introduction of cold weather payments, trebled by Gordon Brown from £8.50 to £25 a week in the autumn, which are given whenever the temperature falls below freezing for seven consecutive days." according to the Daily Mail

But it is going to get worse!!!
"...it has emerged that the government has been warned it may soon need to introduce HOT weather payments.The Met Office report concludes that summer weather in Britain may become so hot that the poor and elderly will need help to pay their summer energy bills as they use air conditions to prevent heat exhaustion.
A spokesman for the Met Office said today: 'One response to climate change we are expecting is more in the way of hotter summers as we go through the 21st century. We will see a higher temperature.'"
Air Conditioning is going to be an entitlement in Britain ! ! !
